Wings for Warriors

Continuing to benefit from the effects of CABWI's previous grant, Wings for Warriors has gone from strength to strength. After a two-day inspection from the Civil Aviation Authority, it was confirmed that the charity is providing wounded, injured and sick veterans with access to very high quality training - assuring airlines that the project is well worthy of their future investment.

The charity's newest recruits includes Lt Nick Galvin, who was discharged from the Royal Navy after a road traffic accident left him with severe brain damage. The charity has supported Nick through his pilot's medical process and he has already completed his Private Pilot's License with the charity.

LCpl Harrison Gray (REME) also joined the charity after a leg injury ended his long-term service with the British Army. Harrison is due to formally begin training in June 2026 and is very excited to be given the chance to build himself a brighter future as a pilot.
