With support from CABWI, the Romanian and Eastern European Hub is delivering a 12-month employability programme for 30 individuals, primarily from Eastern European communities facing significant barriers to employment, including ex-offenders and NEETs.
The initiative provides free CSCS Level 1 Construction Labourer training and assessment in partnership with a reputable training provider. Participants also receive tailored support with CV writing, job applications, and interview preparation from an experienced casework officer.
The programme is delivered in three cohorts of 10, with outreach through social media, community partners, and direct engagement at builders’ stores. Progress is tracked via a secure CRM system, and outcomes include qualification achievement, employment access, and recorded income gains.
As an equity-led organisation with deep community ties and a strong track record, Ro-EE Hub is uniquely positioned to deliver this impactful and innovative programme aligned with CABWI’s funding priorities.
